What makes me special is my outgoing personality.

What is the one thing about you that people you meet may not immediately realize?

I come across very confident but just like all girls I have my insecurities.

Best advice you have ever received?

The best advice I have ever received saying “Be your own kind of beautiful.”

What can’t you live without?

I can not live without my three younger sisters running around yelling.

What is your biggest guilty pleasure?

My biggest guilty pleasure is anything covered in chocolate or deep fried.

What is your favorite movie genre and why?

My favorite movie genre would have to be anything Disney! Disney always makes everyone feel like they can do anything. It also tells young girls that they are strong, and beautiful leaders inside and out.

Where do you see yourself in ten years?

I see myself being head nurse of my very own neonatal unit.

Most valuable lesson learned?

Mother knows best!

Most valued role model (other than your mother) and why?

My most valuable role model is my show choir director Denise Lee. She leads class with a cool calm, but also a commanding voice. Everyone loves and respects her. I have learned so many things from her, half of it will not fit on this page!

What motivates you?

Competition is the best motivator.

Greatest non-academic accomplishment other than winning your local title?

Being voted freshman maid for our high school homecoming by my peers.

Best compliment you have ever received?

Luckily I am surrounded by a support system that is good at giving compliments, but the ones that mean that most to me are by the people who’s lives I have touched.

Secret wish or dream?

My dream is not a secret, I am an open book but one day I hope to travel.

What is the funniest or most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to you?

Driving my mom’s car through the front of the community the night of the homecoming dance.

What is one thing you’d like to try that is out of character for you?

Ironically I am attempting to do this now by entering in this pageant.

What is your superpower?

My power is being an outspoken leader.

What is one important thing you have learned from being in the Miss Mississippi Program?

To try new things even if they scare you.

Describe yourself in one word.
