Most valuable lesson learned? I would say my most valuable lesson learned is not to judge a book by its cover. People and things are not always what they seem. Each person has their own story and you don’t know what that story is.
Most valued role model (other than your mother) and why? My softball coach Monica Ellis. She taught us that doing our best on and off the field is important but sportsmanship, loyalty, family and friends you make are the most important.
What motivates you? The outcome! Sometimes things are hard and you don’t want to put the effort in, but hard work and dedication always make the work worth the outcome. Lessons and the experience are what life is made of.

What is your super power? My super power, is definitely my personality, and my happy attitude, a kind word can change the world.
What is one important thing you have learned from being in the Miss Mississippi’s Outstanding Teen Program? This program gives teens opportunities to experience new things and be a part of giving back and caring for others. It seems like a small thing, but I was able to read to two groups of kindergarteners over the holidays and I had a great time doing it.
Describe yourself in one word. Funny
A Fun Family Fact? I was the only child for 15 and half years, and then there came my little brother! He was a huge shock but an amazing blessing.
I would like to people to know that I am real. What you see is the real me I am a funny, friendly fun loving person. I am a smart young adult, that has been blessed with opportunities and experience of being involved in pageants my whole life. I think people see a pageant girl, and think that it’s all about the makeup, glamor of winning crowns and dressing up. I have learned so much from pageants, humility and gratitude and friendship and love from so many wonderful people. I know how to lose, you don’t always win! I am grateful when I do well and I believed being involved in pageants has helped mold who I am. I am more than a crown but someone who loves big and wants to do something big in this world.
Animal Welfare Advocate is my platform and I am passionate about it and choose it because I have always had a love for animals. I am particularly concerned about local and state dog and cat populations. I have worked with local shelters and nonprofit organizations to help with raising money to get dogs and cats spayed and neutered. I want to raise the awareness and importance of having your pets spayed and neutered and also how important it is to adopt pets instead of buying from pet shops or breeders. There is so much that could be done to help with animals and pet welfare, but I believe that two of the most important and effective ways to start to make a difference is, spaying and neutering and local shelter adoptions. There are over 7 million cats and dogs that enter the shelter each year and even more running stray and out of that 7 million over 2 million are euthanized. Spaying and neutering tremendously cuts down the amount of cats and dogs being born. It is a small step but one I believe that can help save so many lives and cut down on the over population. Education is the key, knowledge is power. I believe if people were educated on the how to get help and information on how to get your pet spayed or neutered they would be willing to do so. I also want to raise awareness of the shelter population. Homeless animals out number people 5 to 1, and there are not enough shelters available to support the large population. There are so many cats and dogs needing forever homes. If people adopted instead buying pets that in itself would help with the overcrowded shelters and that each animal adopted will have already been spayed and neutered. Small steps can create big change, and that is my goal.
