What is your scholastic ambition? Upon graduation, I plan to attend medical school to become a gastroenterologist.
List scholastic honors: Inducted into Phi Eta Sigma, Alpha Lambda Delta, and the National Society for Collegiate Scholars Honor Societies, Inducted into the National Honor Society.
Greatest non-academic accomplishment: Being a member of the International Thespian Society and ranking superior at the state level and excellent at the national level my senior year of high school.
What is your favorite style of music? I am a music lover so I appreciate all musical genres but I love almost everything that is Beyoncé related.
What is your favorite movie genre and why? I enjoy action and comedy because movies allow me the chance to laugh while waiting in anticipation throughout the movie, leave reality, and see a whole new world through the eyes of the characters.
What is your favorite gadget? My cell phone because it help me stay connected with friends and the things that are happening in the world.
What is your favorite blog? I don’t watch blogs.
What is your favorite place to visit? I don’t have a favorite place to visit. I just like to go different place to create new memories.
What is your favorite food? I really love pinto beans. It makes my little heart so happy when grandma makes pinto beans and pairs it with pork chops and cornbread.

Thing to do on a weekend: When I have free time on the weekends I like to lay in bed and watch anime or go for a walk with my roommate around Lamar Park.
Way to spend a day off: The best way to spend a day off for me is to be with family or friends. Spending time with my love ones help me relax and prepare for the next thing.
What is your hometown like? My hometown is so small that if you blink you will miss it. Since it is so small, the majority of the town are close and look out for each other as if we are all one big family.
What were you like when you were a child? I do not remember what I was like as a child, but I have been told that I have always had a loving and caring personality and that I was easy to be around.
Who is the most influential person in your life? My mom is the most influential person in my life. She is so sweet and selfless and she inspires me everything to be the best version of myself I can be while serving my community.
What is the one thing about you that people you meet may not immediately realize? I am actually a shy and reserved person and I takes me a little time to feel completely comfortable in a new environment.
Describe one defining moment in your own life, other than winning your local title: A defining moment in my life happened when I accepted Jesus as my personal Savior.
What is one important thing you have learned from being in the Miss America Program? I have learned to have more patience with myself and not to allow anything to stop me from achieving my goals.
If you are crowned Miss Mississippi, what do you want to accomplish during your Year of Service? My goal as Miss Mississippi would not only be to raise awareness for Body Dysmorphic Disorder but to also be a servant and give back to the communities of Mississippi. I would also strive to show the rest of America the aspects about this state that makes it great and why I am proud to call Mississippi my home.
What is your secret wish or dream? I am a huge Beyoncé fan. I would love to meet her and sing on stage with her one day.
I’m motivated by: I am motivated by my family and everyone who supports me.
Is there a personal connection that made you pick your personal platform? Even though I was never diagnosed with Body Dysmorphic Disorder, I experience a time where I was very unpleased with my natural hair but through the love and support of my parents I was to love myself for who I am. I pick this platform because I want to be able to give other people the support they need to help them build up their confidence.
What do you think has been the most significant event in your lifetime? The most significant event for me was competing at the International Thespian competition. That moment introduced me to my love of performing because it allows me to step outside of my comfort zone and show the audience a different world through the eyes of the character I am portraying.
The one thing I can’t live without: I can’t live without the support of my family and friends. I am tough on myself and there have been times that I have felt inadequate and wanted to give up but because of them I continue to strive to be the best that I can be.
My best friend would describe me as: I believe my friends would describe me as caring, loving, and determine to learn, grow, and be the best I can be.
Something interesting about my family: Both my mom and my dad come from a large family but I am the only child.
Funniest or most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to me: The funniest/ most embarrassing thing I can remember happening to me was when I thought I saw my friend across campus and I ran up to her just to realize that it wasn’t her but someone with a similar hairstyle. What made it worse was I almost fell on my face while I was trying to speak to her.
One thing I’d like to try that is out of character for me: I would like to go to the beach and try the water jet pack or water jet bike. This is out of character for me because I cannot swim so I try to stay away from water that is deeper than five feet.
