What is your hometown like?     My hometown is small, friendly and giving. There is always someone willing to help others in need.  

What were you like when you were a child?   I was very shy but very creative.

Who is the most influential person in your life? Definitely my mom, she is the reason I am where I am today.   

What is the one thing about you that people you meet may not immediately realize?    I am double jointed – almost everywhere. It really freaks people out!

Describe one defining moment in your own life, other than winning your local title:  Seeing the impact my platform has on children’s lives.

What is one important thing you have learned from being in the Miss America Program?    That one person can make a great impact on a community.

If you are crowned Miss Mississippi, what do you want to accomplish during your Year of Service?    I want to put an end to childhood hunger in Mississippi.

What is your secret wish or dream?    To be a contestant on Survivor

 I’m motivated by:   Knowing God created me and that the life he gave me is extraordinary!

Is there a personal connection that made you pick your personal platform?  My best friend did not have food at home a lot of the time but I wasn’t aware of this for years.  After I found out I’ve made it my personal mission to end child hunger. 

What do you think has been the most significant event in your lifetime?   The first time I was able to deliver the Backpack Ministry bags to the children. Their smiles really touched my heart.  

The one thing I can’t live without:         Ramen Noodles                                                      

My best friend would describe me as:    Very Outgoing

Something interesting about my family:    My brother and sister are 15 years older than me.

Funniest or most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to me:  A wave completely wiped me out at the beach.  I flipped several times!

One thing I’d like to try that is out of character for me:  I would like to swim with sharks

Do you have any pets? If so, what kind and tell us their names:    I have a dog – Allie.  We rescued her from the pound on my 8th birthday.
