If you were on a deserted island, what book would you want with you? If I were on a deserted Island I would want any type of encyclopedia with me to keep me from getting bored!

What is your hometown like? My hometown Picayune, MS is so charming! The town is small, but the people have the biggest hearts and are always willing to lend a helping hand.
What were you like when you were a child? When I was a child, I was fiercely independent and extremely creative. I spent a lot of time creating “businesses” and bossing my brother around!
Who is the most influential person in your life? The most influential person in my life is Kara Fleming. She has coached me in dance for years but has also taught me so many valuable life lessons.
What is the one thing about you that people you meet may not immediately realize? Something that most people don’t realize about me is that I am a total nerd. I love organizing, checking things off my to-do list, and learning new facts about any topic.
Describe one defining moment in your own life, other than winning your local title: My defining moment in my life would be when I asked Jesus Christ to be my Lord and Savior. My life is now defined by my love for others and my faith in him.
What is one important thing you have learned from being in the Miss America Program? The Miss America program has taught me the importance of confidence! With confidence, I can do anything I set my mind to and help others achieve their goals as well.
If you are crowned Miss Mississippi, what do you want to accomplish during your Year of Service? As Miss Mississippi, I would love to show America just how great MS is! I also want to start programs to raise awareness of the importance of women’s preventative health screenings
What is your secret wish or dream? My secret wish is to act in a Hallmark Christmas movie!
I’m motivated by: To-do lists are my ultimate motivation. Writing my goals down and then marking them off is so satisfying!
Is there a personal connection that made you pick your personal platform? Women’s Health has been so important to me especially because my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. Thankfully it was caught early due to her yearly health screenings!
What do you think has been the most significant event in your lifetime? When I was 12 I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. After my thyroidectomy, my doctors told me it was a miracle and that I did not have cancer! Thankfully, I have been healthy since!
The one thing I can’t live without: My sleep mask!
My best friend would describe me as: I asked my best friend how she would describe me and she said, “honest, trustworthy, and smart!” I am so thankful I have such a kind best friend!
Something interesting about my family: My grandpa was in the military, so every Christmas Eve our whole family eats oyster soup just like he used to when he was stationed in New Jersey.
Funniest or most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to me: One time I was performing at a pep rally and I slipped and fell infront of my whole high school! I did get right back up though!
One thing I’d like to try that is out of character for me: Something I would like to try that is out of character for me is kickboxing as a sport! It would be a fun way to learn self-defense and to exercise.
Do you have any pets? If so, what kind and tell us their names: I have a huge black Goldendoodle named Beretta! He is very clumsy, thinks he’s a human, and just loves attention!
