I am Isabella Nolen, but you can call me Bella because that’s what people I love the most call me. I am a freshman at Germantown High School. I was honored to be chosen as Germantown Middle’s first most beautiful in 8th grade. I was incredibly honored. I am a firm believer in being active in my school and community. At Germantown I am a freshman officer of the Interact Club, a member of the Crown Club and I am a cheerleader for both the school and competitively. I also enjoy being active with various youth groups around Madison.
I have a huge heart for service. In my free time you will see me spending time with my friends and family working out in our gym. I am a fitness nut with a sweet tooth. I really enjoy traveling out of the country with my family, those are the best trips. One last thing I want you all to know is that I would be honored to be the next Miss Mississippi’s Outstanding Teen.
My platform is called “Let’s Talk Trash”. It is about recycling around the community and encouraging other people to recycle. I love recycling because I feel like I am making a difference in helping keep our environment beautiful. I also speak to elementary schools around Madison to help encourage recycling at an early age. It is also easy to recycle. I’ve taken to my platform to make a difference early. I created bookmarks to hand out to youth that are made of recycled paper. This is not to only encourage recycling but reading as well. My platform is also printed on them to remind them to recycle.
I started recycling at a very young age. My parents always told me that if we do not recycle then the earth would not be beautiful anymore. They also taught me that life is a gift, so I need not take it for granted. Ever since then I have been recycling every day. That is why I chose recycling as my platform. Having the opportunity to preserve our environment.
