I have met many of my dearest friends through the Miss Mississippi program.  The main thing I’ve learned is to be yourself.

I’m only 13.  Im in 7th grade.  I dance at Art in Motion Dance Company.  I am in my second year of cheerleading.

Please write a short essay (2 or 3 paragraphs) explaining your passion for your platform and your stance on the subject. Be sure to name your platform and give a brief explanation of its purpose as well.

My Platform is dancers unite.  It is about bullying in schools and dance classes.  Many people don’t realize that bullying is just as bad or worse than they are in schools.  For instance in dance, I have been bullied many times for the way I dance or what I wear.  I hope that I can spread the word about bullying no matter where it is or what kind.
