What were you like when you were a child?   A singer!! My parents have so many videos of me running around and putting on a show! I remember I loved shopping my mom’s closet and wearing her jewelry too. Anything to steal the spotlight!

What is the one thing about you that people you meet may not immediately realize?    That I have always loved school, especially math. Behind my blonde hair and bubbly personality is a total book worm!

Describe one defining moment in your own life, other than winning your local title:  Moving to a brand new city to start high school completely changed my life, and I am so thankful for it. Moving wasn’t hard because I ended up in an awesome choir and theatre program, and got an education that allowed me to graduate from Ole Miss debt free!

What is one important thing you have learned from being in the Miss America Program?    That giving back is just as important for you to do for yourself as it is to do for others. The opportunities of service this organization has provided me have shaped who I am and who I want to become. Without this system, I wouldn’t see the true value of service.

If you are crowned Miss Mississippi, what do you want to accomplish during your Year of Service?    I want to see every square inch of the Hospitality State before my year is up! Mississippi has molded me into the woman I am today, and I want to meet the very people responsible for keeping our state the sweetest state there is.

Is there a personal connection that made you pick your personal platform?  My family has several ties to Organ Donation, and I want to spread the message that Organ Donation is the greatest gift one could ever give, and an incredible legacy to leave behind.

What do you think has been the most significant event in your lifetime?   I can’t choose just one defining moment. To me, everyday causes a ripple effect that has shaped the way my life has gone. I am just so thankful to have been surrounded by incredible role models growing up that got me where I am today!

The one thing I can’t live without:         Coffee!!!

My best friend would describe me as:    Busy! I loved being involved on campus, and my friends would always here me listing off my jam-packed schedule at lunch. Luckily, I was always able to make time to see my girls!

Something interesting about my family:    My mom is the 12th kid in her family, so I have a huge family!! Too many aunts and uncles and cousins to count.

Funniest or most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to me:              I was performing my high school’s pageant, and I totally forgot the words to the end of my song! I wrapped up the last chorus and strutted off stage with the music still going like it was over!

One thing I’d like to try that is out of character for me:  I’d like to be on a show like Impractical Jokers where hidden cameras catch people’s reactions to you doing crazy things in public. I would be so nervous, but I think it would be so fun!

Do you have any pets? If so, what kind and tell us their names:    Yes, I live in a zoo! I have two dogs, Otis and Winnie, and four cats, Buzz, Lucky, Fiona, and Marty.
