What is your hometown like?   Vicksburg is full of historic scenery. Tourists come from near and far to view the facets of its beauty.

What were you like when you were a child? I was very active and curious and I’m still the same.

Who is the most influential person in your life?    A 15 year old girl named Natalie who is battling DIPG which is a very rare form of a brain tumor. She has taught me how to be strong and courageous no matter what the circumstances may look like.

What is the one thing about you that people you meet may not immediately realize?   Because of my openness and bubbly spirit, it’s hard for people to realize that sometimes I get shy and nervous.

Describe one defining moment in your own life, other than winning your local title: Deciding to give Christ my all and not live as a lukewarm servant was the best decision that I have ever made. He shows me that he loves me every day and the feeling is priceless.

What is one important thing you have learned from being in the Miss America Program? I have learned how to be completely selfless. This program has given me so many opportunities to serve and it’s made me realize that the life I live is only purposeful if I am serving others.

If you are crowned Miss Mississippi, what do you want to accomplish during your Year of Service? During my year of service I plan to focus on giving back my all and pouring into the lives of others. I believe in putting others first because that what a great leader does. Being Miss Mississippi will give me the privilege of promoting my platform all across the state and hopefully one day, the world.

What is your secret wish or dream?  I have always wanted to be a rapper.

I’m motivated by:   My mother’s love for me and my aspirations motivates me every day. She always drives me to be the best version of me that I can be.

Is there a personal connection that made you pick your personal platform? Being a teenager and dealing with the different adversities of life was hard for me. Because I didn’t know who I was and my purpose, I felt invaluable. My platform gives me the chance to mentor to teens going through the phase of life that I went through by assisting them with finding their purpose and using that to be purposeful within their communities.

What do you think has been the most significant event in your lifetime? I honestly can’t choose one because I cherish every day and every moment. Every moment is valuable to me.

The one thing I can’t live without: Tomatoes

My best friend would describe me as:       A very silly, caring, and funny human being.

Something interesting about my family:   Everybody thinks that we are serious all the time but there is never a dull moment in our household with all of us together.

Funniest or most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to me:  When I fell on the steps during the practice for our opening number at Miss Mississippi 2018.

One thing I’d like to try that is out of character for me:      I would love to sky dive although I am terrified of heights.
