What is your scholastic ambition? I plan to earn my bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State and then attend medical school

Greatest non-academic accomplishment: I have received my Silver Award, which is the highest achievement that is offered in Venturing, a co-ed division of Boy Scouts of America. I have also received my Gold Award, Religious Life Bronze, and Outdoor Bonze Awards in Venturing
What is your favorite style of music? I like all genres of music; however, I am not a fan of rap
What is your favorite movie genre and why? My favorite genre of movie would have to be animated. This is because sometimes you just need to let you inner-child break free
What is your favorite gadget? My favorite gadget would probably have to be my cell phone
What is your favorite blog? I have never followed a blog
What is your favorite place to visit? My favorite place to visit would have to be my family’s cabin on the Tombigbee River
What is your favorite food? My favorite food is chicken pudding, which is Poppy-seed Chicken Casserole without the poppy seeds
If you were on a deserted island, what book would you want with you? I would want to bring Survival on a Deserted Island for Dummies

Way to spend a day off: My favorite way to spend off day would either be hangout with friends and family or curl up in front of the television and binge watch movies

What is your hometown like? My hometown is small town where everybody knows everyone else. It is full of people that are always willing to lend a hand
What were you like when you were a child? People tell me that when I was a child, I was quite spastic and in your face and always had to have my way
Who is the most influential person in your life? My interview coach Mary Jane Westerlund would be the most influential person. She has taught me how to be confident in myself and to accept the things that happen in life that I cannot change
What is the one thing about you that people you meet may not immediately realize? I love science fiction
Describe one defining moment in your own life, other than winning your local title: I walked up on my grandfather’s fatal car accident with my father. This taught me to make the best of everyday because you may never know what tomorrow will hold
What is one important thing you have learned from being in the Miss America Program? This program has taught me to present myself with confidence in every aspect of my life
If you are crowned Miss Mississippi, what do you want to accomplish during your Year of Service? I would like to teach young girls the importance of being confident and accepting who you are. I would also like to promote my platform by educating young girls on the importance of self-check for early detection of signs of breast cancer
What is your secret wish or dream? I have always dreamed of being cast as a princess at Disney World
I’m motivated by: I am motivated by the support of the people around me
Is there a personal connection that made you pick your personal platform? Joining my sorority at Mississippi State made me aware of the existence of this condition. After learning more about breast cancer, I discovered many people that I know and love have suffered from this condition
What do you think has been the most significant event in your lifetime? The most significant event in my lifetime was September 11, 2001
The one thing I can’t live without: I could not live without the internet
My best friend would describe me as: Studious, funny, outgoing, friendly, hardworking, supportive, and gorgeous
Something interesting about my family: If you trace back the Fauver lineage, it is connected to Chief Pushmataha, who is also an ancestor of Brett Favre
Funniest or most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to me: I thought blue Easter chicks came from blue eggs
One thing I’d like to try that is out of character for me: I think I would like to try skydiving, in spite of being afraid of heights
Do you have any pets? If so, what kind and tell us their names: I do have pets! I have miniature dachshunds, one named Paki-Takali (which is the Indian word for my hometown, Pontotoc) or “Paki” for short and the other named Dobby (after the house elf from Harry Potter), I also have an English bulldog named Oakley
