Describe one defining moment in your own life, other than winning your local title: Rather than a defining moment, it was more of a defining period two years ago. While I have had a plan, I started focusing on the direction of my life, spending more time on my career and what I wish to accomplish in my community.
What is one important thing you have learned from being in the Miss America Program? By searching introspectively and being influenced by some great young women, I am working toward being the best version of myself that I can be. Being a success involves not only reaching my professional goals, but also helping others achieve a better life by being actively involved in the community, both as a volunteer and a role model.
If you are crowned Miss Mississippi, what do you want to accomplish during your Year of Service? First, I wish to make this scholarship program relevant and available to young women through planned promotional activities featuring local title-holders. On the speaking circuit I would want to encourage young women not only to reach for their dreams, but also to become women of action in their communities through volunteer efforts.

Funniest or most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to me: While singing on stage, I had a wardrobe malfunction because my dress would not close in the back and was beginning to fall down in the front.
