What makes you special and unique? I don’t think I’m unique. I’ve come to realize so many other girls possess some of the exact qualities that I have. I believe I’m special because I have great faith in my Lord. I’m blessed with the gift of singing and acting. I have a heart full of compassion for others. I accept people for who they are without judgment. Getting to know me you will see I’m very real. What you see is exactly what you get from my goofy sense of humor to my heart for serving others through community service.
What is the one thing about you that people you meet may not immediately realize? The one thing people may not realize about me is I’m very energetic when I step on stage I become even more vibrant with energy. There is nothing I love more than watching the crowd come alive with me when I begin to sing and act. I just love to entertain.
Best advice you have ever received? The best advice I’ve ever received is from my mom that winning and losing are equally important. Even though you may not win every time however every time is practice for the next time. To always hold your head high and smile. You use the moments as learning tools that make a win even that much sweeter.
What can’t you live without? Just like most teenagers my phone, but I know truly the things don’t make you happy. I couldn’t live without the love and support of my Mom, family, and my friends.
What is your biggest guilty pleasure? Absolutely Food! I don’t have one particular favorite. I just love it all!!!
What is your favorite movie genre and why? My favorite movie genre is comedies nothing makes me feel better than a good laugh. Especially when you’re with your friends and you find a movie that makes you laugh so hard your stomach hurts.
Where do you see yourself in ten years? I see myself having a degree in performing arts and doing what I love most performing for others making people smile through my love of music and acting. I’d love to be in a crowded stadium with people screaming my name. If I can’t do what I love most I would like to be a FBI agent.
Most valuable lesson learned? I think one of the most valuables lessons is that if first you don’t succeed try try again. You should never give up on your dreams and just because one person says no doesn’t mean that everyone will and while you are waiting on the next door to open you praise God in the hallway.
Most valued role model (other than your mother) and why? Selena Gomez because she’s living my dream she started acting at a very young age making her first appearance on Barney & Friends, then landed a lead role on Disney’s Wizards of Waverly Place, and now she’s entered the film industry. She formed her very own band her songs have debuted at number one in the US and featured the top five singles “Good for You” and “Same Old Love.” I’m excited to say that for my 15th birthday my mom and I are going to New Orleans to see her live in concert.
What motivates you? I am reminded of a bible verse Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not harm you, and plans to give you hope and a future.” This simply excites me that GOD has a great big future planned out for me I can’t wait to see what it is.
Greatest non-academic accomplishment other than winning your local title? I recently performed as one of the leading roles in Disney’s High School Musical as Sharpay Evans through Wing’s Performing Arts Theater.
Best compliment you have ever received? I was in a Nashville’s Country Music Award’s event competition. We were told to bring a song that we had been working on that we had been struggling with, not one that was already perfect. As I walked on the stage I took my glasses off and explained I picked the song just the day before. When it was over they ask,“Why did you take your glassesoff?” and I said, “Oh my mom would kill me if I didn’t” And the lady said, “With or without glasses you are absolutely beautiful and your voice was breathtaking I could listen to you all day long.”
Secret wish or dream? Well…. I can’t tell my secret or it might not come true.
What is the funniest or most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to you? Acting and Singing come very natural for me. I had to give a speech that I had worked on this speech for weeks. When I stepped onto the stage I began my speech and all of a sudden I was like a deer in head lights. I just froze absolutely nothing. What felt like an eternity a voice from the crowd my CRAZY mom yells, “startover” that moment I was snapped back into reality and I finished my speech. I remember coming off the stage with big tears in my eyes and my mom having the biggest smile throwing her arms around me saying she was so proud of me.
What is one thing you’d like to try that is out of character for you? I made a joke once I said, ”all this singing and acting is getting in the way of my softball career.” Everyone laughed and said,“what softball career?” I said,“the one I don’t have.” I’ve never played and all my friends seem to love it.
What is your super power? If I were granted one super power I’d like the ability to fly. Isaiah 40:31 but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
What is one important thing you have learned from being in the Miss Mississippi Program? Miss Mississippi isn’t just a title it’s a role and being the voice for Mississippi requires a lot of hard work and dedication. That preparation is the key. Each area of competition requires that I be the best I can be.
Describe yourself in one word: LOVING
A Fun Family Fact? We turn off all electronics and television at dinner. It’s our time to share our day. We play this game called “Roses & Thorns” The rose is the best part of our day and the thorn is the worst part.

Please write a short essay explaining your passion for your platform and your stance on the subject: I believe that every child has the right to be treated with dignity, to be safe, and to thrive in a loving home. Unfortunately, so many children in the state of Mississippi do not have that. Research shows there are 3,700 children currently in foster care in Mississippi. This number alone is starling and heartbreaking. This is exactly why I partnered with Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). I have spent most of my life volunteering with children of all ages and I love them. The thought of children being without and mistreated hurts my heart. This is why I began Fostering Hope; through this program I am making sure the children that are caught between the court system and their families never miss out on special events in their lives such as Easter and Christmas. I have sold blue ribbons to bring awareness to the abused and neglected children to raise monetary donations. And collect necessary items that the children need. I will continue Fostering Hope for the rest of my life this is how significant an impact this platform has been to me. I am one person and able to bring so much joy to the children. So imagine what we could do together. This is one cause where the single actions of one person can mean everything.
