What college did you attend, or are currently attending? I will attend the University of Mississippi.
What is your major? I plan to major in pre-pharmacy.
What is your scholastic ambition? I was accepted into the Early-Entry Pharmacy program at Ole Miss, so I hope to successfully complete my prerequisites and then complete pharmacy school at the University of Mississippi
List scholastic honors: I was in the National Honor Society at Amory High School. I will be a Provost Scholar at Ole Miss, and I have received the Ole Miss Academic Excellence Scholarship.
Greatest non-academic accomplishment: My senior year, my cheer squad was the state runner-up at the MHSAA State Cheer Competition.
What is your favorite style of music? My favorite type of music is hard to describe because I like all types of music. What I like is based on the song, not the type of music.
What is your favorite movie genre and why? I enjoy romantic comedies because they are both sappy and comical.
What is your favorite gadget? My favorite gadget would have to be my iPhone because it makes looking up information so easy.
What is your favorite blog? My favorite blog would have to be Fashion by Mayhem. It follows the hilarious stories of a seven year old paper dress fashion designer.
What is your favorite place to visit? I love to visit any beach.
What is your favorite food? I enjoy eating any type of chicken.
If you were on a deserted island, what book would you want with you? I believe that a survival skills handbook would be very useful.

Way to spend a day off: On a day off I like to relax and take a break from school work.
What is your hometown like? My hometown, Amory, is very small, but it has so much character. There is not much to do, but when we use out imagination. There is never a dull moment.
What were you like when you were a child? I was very studious as a child, and I loved to learn. My childhood was an inspiration for my platform, Love2Learn, because I want children to love to learn as much as I did or more when I was a child.
Who is the most influential person in your life? My mother is the most influential person in my life because she never lets me give up on my dreams. She works hard until the job is done.
What is the one thing about you that people you meet may not immediately realize? People may not realize that I am a very approachable person and that I could talk to just about anybody.
Describe one defining moment in your own life, other than winning your local title: One defining moment in my life was when half of my cheer squad quit two weeks before competition, and we had to redo an entire routine in two weeks with only twelve girls. Those two weeks taught me more persistence than any other time in my life.
What is one important thing you have learned from being in the Miss America Program? I have learned so many vital communication skills. Through the interview process, I have learned to talk to strangers, friends and judges with more poise and confidence.
If you are crowned Miss Mississippi, what do you want to accomplish during your Year of Service? I would strive to be the best Miss Mississippi possible while representing this great state. I would volunteer at elementary schools to give students a change of pace so that they could learn to love learning and become better students.
What is your secret wish or dream? My secret wish is that I would miraculously wake up and have the ability to sing beautifully.
I’m motivated by: I am motivated by my goal to make everything perfect because if it isn’t perfect, I’m not finished.
Is there a personal connection that made you pick your personal platform? Yes, I was a student that was always eager to learn something new, and that has made me a better student. I believe that if elementary students develop a passion to learn, then they will be great students and leaders.
What do you think has been the most significant event in your lifetime? The most significant world event that has occurred during my lifetime was 9-11. Even though I was only three years old, we are still living in a world affected by that day.
The one thing I can’t live without: I could not live without my family supporting me.
My best friend would describe me as: She would describe me as interesting because there is never a dull moment when the two of us are together.
Something interesting about my family: On my mother’s side of the family, we have all girl cousins except for one boy. My father recently retired after 32 years in the military, and my great uncle, Jerry Brown, has pottery in the Smithsonian.
Funniest or most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to me: My mom and I thought that someone was in our house while we were alone because we kept hearing a phone ring. After we called multiple neighbors and relatives to come check our house, we found out that it was my iPad receiving messages upstairs.
One thing I’d like to try that is out of character for me: I would like to go skydiving even though I am not too fond of heights.
Do you have any pets? If so, what kind and tell us their names: I have a poodle named Coco and a Yorkie named Odie. I have had Coco since preschool, and everybody makes fun of his girl name.
