I’m motivated by:  Compassion for others motivates me.  When I think of the many people whom have imparted in my life, it motivates me to want to do the same and much more for others.

Is there a personal connection that made you pick your personal platform?  Yes.  My love for learning languages and studying about other cultures inspired me to develop this platform.  Through my studies in Spain and Korea, I required assistance in language learning and culturally adapting.  These experiences helped me realize how difficult it must be for immigrants entering America looking to live the American Dream.  I also believe we as Americans should be open to learning different languages and cultures so that we can gain a better understanding of one another.

What do you think has been the most significant event in your lifetime?  While studying in Korea this past fall semester, I had more opportunities to self-reflect.  When you are alone in a country where almost no one speaks your language, you learn quickly how to grow spiritually and socially adapt in order to positively impact the lives of others.

Funniest or most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to me:  I was trying to walk gracefully while the heel of my shoe kept getting caught on the dress.  What an epic fail.

One thing I’d like to try that is out of character for me: I think it would be interesting to attend or participate in a Broadway musical.

Do you have any pets? If so, what kind and tell us their names: No.
