What is your scholastic ambition? I aspire to become a professor of Modern Languages.

Greatest non-academic accomplishment: Travelling from the United States to Spain independently.
What is your favorite style of music? I enjoy dance music and songs with positive messages.
What is your favorite movie genre and why?I prefer family movies and comedies, because I love to laugh and I love movies that tough you heart.
What is your favorite gadget? My android smart phone
What is your favorite blog? Buzfeed, because it is entertaining and educational.
What is your favorite place to visit? Spain, because it is beautiful and culturally rich.
What is your favorite food? Snow Crab legs; they are very delicious and light
If you were on a deserted island, what book would you want with you? Bible, for encouragement. I wouldn’t want to ever forget God’s greatness and what he can do.

What is your hometown like? I live in the small town of West Point, MS where the population is slightly over 11,000. We are a slow but steadily growing community filled with hospitable neighbors, family, and friends.
What were you like when you were a child? I was bigger than life. I had enough spunk and attitude to spare.
Who is the most influential person in your life? My mother is extremely hard-working, loving, and giving person. I look up to her because she is living-proof that hard work can take you as far as you want to go.
What is the one thing about you that people you meet may not immediately realize? I speak three languages. Usually I speak English; however, when I get comfortable or very excited I will say thing in Spanish or Korean.
Describe one defining moment in your own life, other than winning your local title: When I got accepted into the Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science, it was a huge deal to me. It amplified my confidence to do my best in all I do.
What is one important thing you have learned from being in the Miss America Program? I have learned the importance of carrying myself with confidence. Many people do not realize how something as simple as this can inspire youth to be confident in themselves.
If you are crowned Miss Mississippi, what do you want to accomplish during your Year of Service? I plan to continue my platform, Go For It! I want to give youth encouragement and make them aware that they can achieve their dreams, if they are willing to put in the work.
What is your secret wish or dream? I want to be a well-known singer. I love to sing soulful songs with powerful lyrics that touch the hearts of others.
I’m motivated by: My dreams and aspirations drive my momentum toward greater success.
Is there a personal connection that made you pick your personal platform? Yes, for years I was bullied for having big dreams and performing well academically. I want to encourage youth not to allow their fears or their peers to stop them from pursuing their goals.
What do you think has been the most significant event in your lifetime?After I joined Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., I was finally able to learn about myself. I could feel that I was surrounded by people who really cared about who I was and the things I aspired to accomplish.
The one thing I can’t live without: Smartphone, it is my connection to my family and the world.
My best friend would describe me as: I would be describe as a funny, ambitious, and optimistic person. Oftentimes, I am told I bring up the atmosphere with my personality.
Something interesting about my family: We all are very different individuals. We each prefer a different genre of music, we have diverse interest and aspirations, and we all have different personality types.
Funniest or most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to me: Almost every time I pop popcorn in the microwave, I burn it. At the same time, popcorn is my favorite snack.
One thing I’d like to try that is out of character for me: I would love to learn how to cook healthy foods. Although I cannot cook very well, I desire to stay fit and in tip-top shape.
