What is your favorite movie genre and why? Comedy, because I love to laugh!
What is your favorite gadget? My favorite gadget is my self- curling curling iron. I just push a button and it makes doing my hair so much easier.

What is your favorite place to visit? I am happy being anywhere in the mountains

What is your hometown like? Vicksburg is filled with so much history and so many unique places, such as the military park, so make sure you see all of the local favorites! It has also been home to the Miss Mississippi pageant for 60 years!
What were you like when you were a child? As a child I was very shy, but once I started dancing and performing on stage, I came out of my shell!
Who is the most influential person in your life? Although I could not just pick one, my mother is at the top of the list of the people who were such an influence in my life growing up!
What is the one thing about you that people you meet may not immediately realize?On the outside, I may seem quiet, but I love to talk and get to know people! I can talk a lot and I love to make people laugh!
Describe one defining moment in your own life, other than winning your local title:A defining moment in my life was getting accepted into nursing school, furthering my education. I realize that this is a huge step in life, and it is leading into my future career as an RN!
What is one important thing you have learned from being in the Miss America Program?The Miss America Program has taught me the true meaning of dedication. I have learned to work very hard for what I want and to never give up
If you are crowned Miss Mississippi, what do you want to accomplish during your Year of Service?I want everyone, no matter the age to understand the importance of Getting Up and Getting Moving! Motivation is key, and I would love to be a part of influencing that motivation!
What is your secret wish or dream? My secret wish is to be part of the Radio City Rockettes!
I’m motivated by: I am motivated by my own mistakes. I believe in turning adversity into success.
Is there a personal connection that made you pick your personal platform?I love being active, and there was a period in life where I experienced what the body does while being inactive for a period of time. It may be the slightest changes, but your choices impact your overall quality of life
What do you think has been the most significant event in your lifetime?Being crowned Miss Hinds Community College during their centennial year, and having earned the honor to compete for Miss Mississippi in my hometown for the 60th anniversary will be a year full of memories. It will be something that I will always cherish, and never forget!
The one thing I can’t live without:my family, including all of my fur babies!
My best friend would describe me as: kindhearted, sweet, funny, and a little goofy at times!
Something interesting about my family: We are all very close, and we love family game night! At any family event we make sure we bring along all of our favorite games, with our new addition of our favorite game, Pie Face.
Funniest or most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to me: I was in a pageant, and I fell down a set of stairs after tripping on my dress. My dress tore in the middle, but I was fine, and the dress was easily fixable! It could have been worse.
One thing I’d like to try that is out of character for me: Something out of character for me would be skydiving. I am terrified of falling out of a plane, but it has always been something I have wanted to try, but I doubt it.
Do you have any pets? If so, what kind and tell us their names:Yes , I have two cats and three dogs. My cats are Cooper and Sylvester, and the dogs are Nick, Lexi, and Baxter. All of my pets are a huge part of my family.
